BMW stroke 5 series
Yep , Im a slow learner.   TOO many beers , or maybe too many prangs on my head!

The 1st photo  isnt a bike of mine but gives you an idea of what Im aiming at . No clip ons or rearsets , the back says NO! and need to talk to Paul about a street legal exhaust system that isnt just noise .

There where 4 under here when the photo was taken  , now 1 1/2  , like I said Im outa  here very soon.

Its ALL CHANGED .

The R60/5  is getting a few new parts , rings , clutch , oil seals if needed etc and then being used while WE GO BESERK on the R75/5 . Well Paul anyway , Im just chucking in my 2 bobs worth and  paying the bills .  The BMW R60/5 will end up for sale  once the R75 is sorted and will be a nice bike for someone . Any offers ?

HOLTYS NEW TOY
Sorry SIS , your dead a long time !!!!!!
The R75/5 will become a
1000 cc , twin plug  with strengthened  front  frame similar to the middle photo with  more cross bracing  and rear subframe braced as well , 40 mm carbs ,  new mufflers  (TBA) and with the new twin disc front end and the Ohlin gas rears for starters that I was going to put on the R60. The 450 w alternator off the 600 will go on this as well so I can add a couple of spotlights similar to the old girl.

Found these photos on the web .  BMW Airheads are alive , kicking arse and  running hard by the look of it  !  one  shows  plumbing  I like  (equal length header pipes ) , left , an interesting frame triangulation concept and the right photo is just  a pretty bike . Dont think Im into single offset rear shock stuff though .The rest are just "me dreaming".   Click on these to enlarge if you wish.
